The earth is entering in its 6th mass extinction event
Many scientists say that the Earth is entering its sixth mass extinction event, that is, three-quarters of all species may disappear in the next century.
According to a study published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, humanity contributes to the picture of the "biological destruction". Scientists also examined a well-studied group of 177 species of mammals and found that they all lost at least 30% of its territory in the period between 1900 and 2015
