John McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer
The American Senator from the Republican party John McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer.
8 years ago McCain, one of the last giants of the Senate, stood in front of the coffin with the flag of his friend and springboro Senator Edward Kennedy, who succumbed to the same disease, which he now fights, and explained their General approach to life.
McCain said that he wanted as quickly as possible to get back to work, but now his movements can be restricted further methods of treatment which may include chemotherapy and radiation. His doctors told the CNJ Sanjay Gupta with permission from McCain that he was suffering from tumors of glioblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer.
McCain's office said in a statement that the Senator of Arizona appreciates the outpouring of support he has received since entering the hospital. "He is grateful to doctors and staff of Mayo clinic for their outstanding care and I am sure that any future treatment will be effective."
One thing is certain - McCain will fight, - said one of his former opponents on Wednesday evening. "John McCain is an American hero and one of the bravest fighters I have ever known," wrote former U.S. President, Barack Obama. "Cancer doesn't know who he's dealing with".
