Charlotte Church is glad she became a mother at just 21
The Welsh singer has two children, Ruby, two, and 14-month-old Dexter, with her rugby player partner Gavin Henson. She didn`t plan to become a mother so young, but is glad she did because she has almost as much energy as her children.
"I`m definitely pleased I had children when I was so young," she said. "I never planned to have children young, but it`s worked out so well. I am glad I had them while I`m still young as both myself and Gav have so much energy to run around and play with them. I`m not stopping at two though - I`d like to have at least four!"
Charlotte and Gavin have been forced to deny their relationship is on the rocks several times in recent years. Despite the rumours of bitter arguments, Charlotte says she has never been happier and even plans to marry Gavin when the time is right.
"Yes, we will get married at some point, but we`re in no rush," she told British magazine More! "We`ll do it when we`re ready. We have a very strong relationship and we are happy - that`s the most important thing.
"Of course we argue from time to time like any couple, but not overly so. We`ve been together for five years now. I think Gav is a good one and I feel very lucky to have him."
