Smokers to ban Smoking at entrances
Soon smokers can drive away from entrances to non-Smoking citizens not breathing tobacco smoke.
The Ministry of health of the Russian Federation expressed their positive reaction to the idea of banning Smoking at entrances of apartment houses. If this initiative is adopted by lawmakers, in a short time everyone who smokes closer to ten meters from the entrance of a house can be fined.
Currently, the project that complicate the lives of smokers, is at a coordination stage in various concerned ministries and departments.
Currently, according to the current "anti-Smoking" legislation, the Russians can't smoke on-site sports facilities, schools, restaurants, railway stations, hotels, trains and planes. In addition, prohibited public advertising of tobacco.
Note, smokers have paid in fines for violating this law in 2016, over 200 million rubles to the budget. However, the head of the Ministry of health Veronika Skvortsova believes that to effectively deal with Smoking in society will only high excise taxes on tobacco products.
