Zoe Saldana has "a bit of lesbianism in her"
The 31-year-old actress says she and her sisters have such strong personalities, older people often assume they are homosexual. Zoe`s grandmother is quick to set her friends straight, but admits she can understand why they are confused.
"People have sometimes told my grandmother, `Your granddaughter has a bit of lesbianism in her,`" Zoe laughed. "It`s that my sisters and I spent all our time among men. We were very popular with them. Our way of thinking is very masculine."
Zoe`s manly side extends to her fashion sense. She hates getting dressed up, and finds getting manicures and donning slinky gowns "punishing".
"If you want to punish me, send me to get a manicure or dress me in a skirt or shorts, and I would die," she told the May edition of Siempre Mujer magazine. "But if you dress me in jeans and a button-down blouse, I feel very sexy, feminine and powerful."
