Svyazinvest plans further increase in communication service tariffs
Joint-stock company Svyazinvest plans to increase tariffs on communication service, announced the head of company Valeriy Yashin.
On Monday he participates in working session of information and communication technology round table of Russian and Europe Union businessmen.
"There are still the lowest tariffs on communication in Russia and I think that we will increase tariffs, - Yashin said, - We are working in that direction with corresponding agency - Federal Tariff Service".
He reminded that 7 local companies of communication that are part of the holding have already increased tariffs by 20%.
"At the same time we have decreased tariffs on distant communication by 5% over all Russian territory demonstrating the tendency of taking down overlapping financing of services", - added a main director of Svyazinvest.
Svyazinvest holding consists of 7 interregion communication companies: Centretelecom, North-West telecom, Siberiatelecom, Volgatelecom, Dalsvyaz, Uralsvyazinform and South telecommunication company.
