Usher never writes songs about his life
The 31-year-old R&B star is due to release his new album RaymondvRaymond next week. He can`t wait for fans to hear the record, but says those expecting to discover intimate details behind his divorce from Tameka Foster last year will be disappointed.
While he admits he captures various emotions in his music, Usher has vowed to never write autobiographical songs because he wants to remain "anonymous".
"My music has always acted like a passport to convey certain emotions but I never let it get too deep in my energy in talking about my personal space," he explained. "I battle for a personal life. Anonymity is something you just don?t have as an artist because the press is always going to be there and is always going to be opinionated."
It has been two years since Usher released an album, and he can`t wait to be back in the charts. He denies he had any time off in the past two years, saying he is constantly working, even if he is not in the recording studio.
"People think I take long breaks, But I`m constantly working and building my brand," he told British magazine More!
