Kristen Bell has designed her own shoe for charity
The 29-year-old actress created a pair of faux-leather gladiator booties in collaboration with the children at Los Angeles` Shriners Hospitals for Children. Named "The Midge", the shoes will be available on Kim Kardashian?s online shoe club ShoeDazzle in August.
Kristen, who is best known for her starring role on US TV show Veronica Mars, is extremely proud of her design, and hopes people will love them as much as she does.
"You can wear these anywhere," Kristen told People magazine, "and hopefully they`ll be comfortable."
Every cent of sales of the footwear will go to Art of Elysium, a charity that brings actors and musicians into the lives of seriously ill children.
Kristen admitted she had never designed before but was keen to get on board as charity work is really important to her.
"I`m in a profession of vanity, so this is grounding for me, and I hope fun for the kids," she said.
