Madonna leaves generous tip
Madonna was chased out of a restaurant by a waiter who thought she`d forgotten her change.
Madonna tipped $40 on a $50 bar bill.
The 51-year-old singer recently met a friend for drinks at the Inc Lounge in Manhattan. As the star was leaving, a waiter came running out after her clutching several bills to his chest.
"Wait! You forgot your change," he screamed at Madonna, thrusting $40 at her.
The star turned to him and told him to calm down, then explained the cash was the gratuity she was leaving. The waiter stared in amazement, and was then heard telling another staff members Madonna had only spent around $50.
The singer isn`t the only star known for leaving big tips. Johnny Depp is renowned for his generosity and once left $3,000 extra after running up a restaurant bill of $5,120.
Matt Damon recently tipped $400 after restaurant staff provided him with lobster during a meal out, even though it wasn`t on the menu.
