Miley Cyrus` father has pleaded with her to only wear long shorts and skirts.

The 17-year-old is known for her skimpy dress sense, and is often seen in micro shorts and tiny skirts. Her father Billy Ray Cyrus has warned her time and again about flashing too much flesh, and has now asked her to only wear items of a certain length.
"Billy Ray told Miley that from now on, he only wants her to wear shorts that are eight inches above the knee or longer," a source laughed.
Miley initially thought her father was joking, but was shocked when she realised he was deadly serious. She has pleaded with her mother Tish to discuss it with Billy Ray, but he`s refusing to budge. He wants his daughter to dress more like a teenager, and has said he`s worried she is growing up too fast.
"He insists he`s serious about this," the source added to National Enquirer magazine.
