Anne Hathaways boyfriend accused of stealing a painting
Actor Adam Shulman - who began dating the ?Alice in Wonderland? actress in 2008 - allegedly walked off with a mural painted by street artist Mr Brainwash and legal action is being threatened.
Ownership of the piece has been claimed by Ken Hart of H&H Building, but he has promised not to press charges should it be returned.
Hart said: "If he brings me back the art, it`s over. But if he doesn`t, I`m going to the police to report it stolen!"
This is not the first time one of Anne?s boyfriends has been in trouble with the law.
In 2008, her ex-partner Raffaello Follieri was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison after pleading guilty to fraud charges.
She has since spoken about her choice in men, saying: "You do have to give me credit because as far as relationships crashing and burning goes, come on, I did pretty great. I mean, scorched that earth!"
