The Governor of Odessa region refused to leave his post by decree Poroshenko
The dismissed head of the Odessa regional administration Maxim Stepanov did not want to resign.
the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was removed from office Stepanova, at the time the acting Director had been appointed Sergey Parashchenko.
The former head of Odessa region said that "no announcement has been written," and the decree Poroshenko called illegal.
"He (Poroshenko - Approx. Ed.) out of the range of possibilities of the President written in the Constitution, " - said Stepanov. The politician noted that the leader can appoint and dismiss the heads of regional state administration only upon submission of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As said Stepanov, Poroshenko offered him to write the message as you wish, however, the Governor did not want.
By assumption " Country. Ua ", suspension Stepanova is due to the low result, which Poroshenko received in the region in the presidential elections.
Stepanov was the head of regional administration in January 2017. Before him this post was held by Mikhail Saakashvili.
