The court has sentenced the former head of Vladivostok Igor Pushkarev to fifteen years in prison and a fine of five hundred million rubles for corruption and abuse of power.
The court has satisfied the civil suit of the victim and recovered from the former head of the city's 143 million rubles.
Igor Pushkarev was the mayor of Vladivostok in eight years. According to investigators, in 2008-2015 for bribes in 75 million roubles, he helped certain companies to win tenders for the construction of roads: for example, lobbied for his company " Vostokcement ", re-issued to his brother after the inauguration of the mayor.
