The organizers of the Eurovision reviewed the results of the competition, counting the scores of the participants.
As reported in the appeal of the European broadcasting Union (EBU), during the show, certain points were incorrectly assessed.
"Due to human error were applied inaccurate the average result. In deference to the artists and members of the EMU we would like to adjust the final results in Accordance with the rules ", - stated in the publication.
In terms of the Ombudsman of Russia Sergey Lazarev got one point more, however, the overall rating is not affected.
Certain countries have changed their places in the overall standings. For example, who took fifth and sixth place in the ranking of Norway and Sweden are reversed, North Macedonia ahead of Azerbaijan and Belarus - Germany.
The Eurovision winner is determined by the total points received from the audience and the jury. This year, the final Authorized Belarus were deprived of the right to vote, and the organizers mistakenly attributed the Belarusian jury the average scores of the contestants.
This year, a music contest defeated singer Duncan Lawrence from the Netherlands. Second place went to Italian Mahmood, and the third - Russian singer Sergey Lazarev with the song Scream.
