Emmy Rossum nervous about nude scenes
Emmy Rossum says being filmed naked is "more stressful" in high definition.
The star plays Fiona Gallagher in the new US remake of the hit British television series Shameless. The comedy follows the wild shenanigans of the Gallaghers, a large and dysfunctional family who don?t have much money.
Emmy?s character is the feisty daughter of patriarch Frank Gallagher, portrayed by William H Macy.
Her role involves a fair amount of nude scenes, which the star admits is rather daunting.
Emmy says she tried not to worry too much and embraced her body shape.
"It is my first time being naked on screen so it is definitely a little stressful but I think you just gotta rock whatever god gave you and be proud of it," she told Radar online.
Emmy admits the added pressure of being shot in high definition didn?t help her nerves, so she is praying the lighting will be flattering.
"Naked in HD is a little more stressful. Hope for the best...hope for good lighting!" joked the star.
The 23-year-old actress says she is happy with her body and works hard to keep in shape. She likes to keep fit with her musician boyfriend, Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. "We do work out together sometimes?We run together!" blushed the star.
