Russian mixed martial arts fighter Habib Nurmagomedov defeated American Dustin Poirier and defended the title of champion of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC) lightweight champion.
The match in Abu Dhabi ended with the victory of the Russians choke in the 3rd round.
Nurmagomedov won his 28th career victory, while not having suffered a single defeat. For Poirier, this defeat was the sixth in 25 victories.
