Operators started the installation of equipment being installed at the time of the law on the sustainable operation of the Russian Internet, told reporters the head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov on the sidelines of the forum " Spectrum-2019 ".
According to the head of the Ministry, the testing equipment will start in one of the Russian regions but not in Tyumen, as before written media - at the end of September and will last for several weeks.
Zharov said that the results of the experiment He will tell in mid-October.

Vladimir Putin signed the Law on sustainable Runet in the beginning of may. It aims to protect the sustainability of the Internet in Russia in case of appearance of danger to the normal functioning from abroad.
The document envisages the development of a monitoring and control network that will coordinate the efforts of the operators in emergency cases. Data of government agencies and state-owned enterprises will further protect encryption.
Internal network without access to the world wide web, are not subject to the law.
The law will take effect in November. Provisions for cryptographic protection of information and the national system of domain names from January 1, 2021.
