The state Duma adopted the law on the return of Smoking in airports building, the document was submitted in 2017 the people's Deputy Sergei Boyarsky (EP).
After a number of refinements to the committees on health and on transport recommended to adopt the draft law in the first reading.

The Chairman of the Department of health Leonid Ogul showed that the taboo was ineffective.
for his part, member of the Department for transport and construction Vladimir Sinyagovsky (EP) said that the designated Smoking area will be created only in transit zones and for passengers who have already passed registration and inspection.
He added that Smoking will be allowed only in special rooms, isolated from other passengers and equipped with ventilation systems.
