Putin approved the new Doctrine of food security
Vladimir Putin approved the new Doctrine of food security of the state, said the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Gordeyev.
It is noted that the Document at the meeting of the security Council showed the Deputy Prime Minister.
The doctrine of food security is one of the main strategic documents of the state security of the country, said the press service.
It assumes full independence of the country's major agricultural products to prevent possible internal and external risks.
According to the doctrine, ought to make the state reserves of agricultural products, raw materials and food in case of emergency, and among them bad weather and crop failure.
The document also contains indicators of self-reliance of the country on various indicators.
"in the list of indicators of self-sufficiency with respect to which threshold values are established, there are vegetables and gourds with threshold 90%, fruits and berries with a threshold value of 60%, and seeds with a threshold value of 75%," - said the press service of Deputy Prime Minister.
