Zoe Saldana: I hate ignorant men
Zoe Saldana says she can`t tolerate ignorant people.
The actress finds having to talk to individuals who are opinionated and have bad manners infuriating. She can`t understand why some people are so judgemental and is quick to speak her mind if someone makes an offensive remark.
The beauty was born in New Jersey to a Puerto Rican mother and a father from the Dominican Republic and she believes her diverse background has made her a more accepting person.
"The only thing I can`t tolerate in a human being, especially in a man, is ignorance," she explained in an interview for the August edition of GQ magazine. "Somebody who talks in labels, or just talks to hear themselves speak. To me, judgement day is when you open your mouth and say something that lets me know what kind of personality you have."
Zoe has also confessed she is turned on by men`s hands. The 32-year-old Hollywood star has been with entrepreneur Keith Britton, 34, for a decade and admits she never expected to fall for such a traditionally handsome man.
"He was model, and now he`s a finance guy. It`s funny I never had a thing for these Abercrombie & Fitch boys. Never. They were just too, y`know? big necks and everything. But then there`s this All-American guy: hunter, beer drinker, all that bulls**t. And in ten years we haven`t been able to get rid of each other," she laughed.
"I love men`s hands. It`s not just the nice, manicured hands. I feel as though hands tell a lot about you and your history, and there`s something abrasively fragile about a man`s hands."
It was recently reported Zoe and Keith are engaged, but she insists she has no plans to settle down. The beauty refuses to follow other people by getting married and starting a family, saying she doesn`t like planning too far ahead.
"I come from a family of spontaneous women - we don`t plan sh*t," she added. "We don`t go from A-to-B-to-Z, either. When it comes to relationships, I`ve learned that tomorrow`s never here, it`s today that counts. And today, I`m gonna enjoy life."
