Liev Scriber terrified of Jolie
Liev Schreiber has confessed he was "nervous" about working with Angelina Jolie on new movie Salt.
Angelina plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy in the action-packed film, which had its Hollywood premiere at Grauman`s Chinese Theatre yesterday. The 35-year-old beauty is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and Liev admits he was terrified at the prospect of shooting scenes with her. However, the pair soon realised they had a lot in common after discussing the pitfalls of being a parent.
"I get nervous around famous people too. The first day or two I had that, but we bonded really quickly over our kids," Liev explained.
Angelina, who wore a strapless black Armani mini-dress to the premiere, finds it "a little funny" that people see her as such a tough character.
The star raises six children with her long-term partner Brad Pitt - who revealed his freshly shaven face as he accompanied her on the red carpet - and she claims she feels more like a mother than a superstar actress. Although she is happy to embrace her mothering instincts, Angelina did enjoy taking part in the "aggressive" fight scenes for Salt.
"When I`m home with my kids, I just feel like somebody`s mom... When I`m working, I feel very empowered and love to do it," she explained.
"I hadn`t worked for over a year, I had had two babies. I`d been home in my nightgown a lot, so it was nice to get out and get really aggressive and physical."
