Ashton Kutcher to appear in court
Ashton Kutcher has never spoken publicly about the traumatic event that affected his life back in 2001.
But now the actor will have to face that terrible night as he`s due to give evidence in court next year.
It will mean confronting Michael Gargiulo, the man accused of murdering Ashton`s then-love interest, Ashley Ellerin.
In a testimony to police, Ashton revealed how he had declined a date with Ashley and was then unable to reach her on the phone for the rest of the evening.
Wanting to make sure she was OK, Ashton made the journey to Ashley`s Hollywood home, but she didn`t answer the door. Concerned, Ashton peered through the window, seeing what he believed to be a spillage of red wine - not realising it was actually Ashley`s blood.
She had been stabbed 35 times.
Michael Gargiulo will also stand trial for the murder of two other women and an attempt on another woman`s life.
An exact date is yet to be announced for Ashton`s appearance.
