3 hurt in Moscow subway tear gas attack
MOSCOW, November 3 - Three people were hurt Thursday morning after an unidentified man sprayed tear gas in a Moscow subway car, the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The incident happened at 08.35 am at Rizhskaya metro station, in the north of the city, on a train heading toward the city center.
Passengers smelled the gas and tried to leave the train as soon as possible, but a few of them felt unwell and fainted.
Traffic in the underground was resumed ten minutes later.
"According to preliminary reports, three men were hurt, they were hospitalized," a rescuer said.
