Mexico stun USA to claim Gold Cup
Mexico football team have claimed their second straight Gold Cup beating the USA in stunning comeback fashion.
Michael Bradley got things started for Team America in the 8th minute as the home side enjoyed the early exchanges.
Landon Donovan then went on to double that advantage some 15 minutes later with an excellent effort in the 23rd minute.
Pablo Barrera, though, helped the Mexicans steady the ship getting one back right before the half-hour mark.
The West Ham winger would eventually get the go-ahead third goal, but the final strike of the day belonged to Giovani Dos Santos.
Goalie Tim Howard was not quite able to claw the ball away leaving the attacker to finish sublimely.
The final score was 4-2, which gives Mexico the right to play in the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil, a year before the World Cup.
