Ewan McGregor likes to "explore" sexuality
The 40-year-old actor has played gay or bisexual characters in many of his films, including `Velvet Goldmine`, `The Pillow Book`, and `I Love You, Philip Morris`, and says he has few limits on the type of characters he is prepared to portray.
He said: "I`ve never been scared to explore sexuality in my work because I think it is very important. It`s a big area of what makes us us, the desire to sleep with men or women, and I never wanted to have limits in any of my work other than my own morals.
"Through my career I`ve played gay or bisexual characters whenever they`ve grabbed me."
Ewan - who is married to Eve Mavrakis, with whom he has four daughters -admits he feels "blessed" to work in an industry with few prejudices about people`s sexuality.
He added to Attitude magazine: "There`s no room for those prejudices in this business, or there shouldn`t be. Maybe I`m just blessed by being able to do this kind of job."
