Derek Hough is a real Dirty Dancer
IF you are fighting a losing battle to win a woman`s affections, take a leaf out of Derek Hough`s book of charm.
Twinkletoes is in the running to play Patrick Swayze`s part in a remake of Eighties chick flick Dirty Dancing and is desperately trying to talk bosses into making Cheryl Cole his co-star.
A source said: "Derek submitted a DVD of him dancing with Cheryl at her O2 show when she supported The Black Eyed Peas last year. He wanted producers to see their chemistry.
"He also put in a copy of Cheryl`s video for her single Parachute, to show how good a dancer she is."
And I can`t imagine director Kenny Ortega wants a Geordie to play Baby - unless she tries an American accent. Not even Jimmy Nail could master that when he had a crack at Hollywood.
Cheryl`s advisers say she doesn`t want to do films at present. Her cameo in next year`s What To Expect When You`re Expecting is all she is signed up for.
Unless of course Tudor Crisps make a comeback - she`d be a canny choice.
