Emily Deschanel has become a mother
The `Bones` actress - who is married to writer-and-actor David Hornsby - gave birth to a baby boy yesterday (21.09.11) and has named the tot Henry.
Following the news of Henry`s arrival, Emily`s `Bones` co-star TJ Thyne took to twitter to congratulate her, saying: "CONGRATULATIONS EMILY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay yay yay!!! :o) (sic)"
Before the tot arrived, Emily, 34, admitted she was loving being pregnant because she was in awe of the power of her body.
She said: "I really like being pregnant. Not that there aren`t things I don`t love, but when I think about what my body is doing - creating a child - it just blows my mind. I`m in awe of the process and science. And seeing my belly move is pretty amazing; it`s like in the movie `Alien`. I knew about the kicks, but I never expected somersaults."
She also revealed she couldn`t wait to experience the mother and baby bond, saying: "Besides meeting the baby ? I look forward to that bond, the love that people say is stronger than you can imagine. Also, I think getting to see everything fresh, through a child`s eyes, is a wonderful thing. And the milestones, just getting to know who this child is."
