Angelina Jolie wanted to be a funeral director
The `Tourist` actress - who raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt - revealed the death of her beloved granddad and his subsequent funeral when she was younger affected her so deeply that she considered becoming an undertaker to help her deal with her grief.
In an interview with `60 Minutes`, she explained: "It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral. How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn`t work out that was going to be my path."
Angelina has previously alluded to her unusual career choice, revealing she completed a home study course in the subject as a teenager.
She said: "When I was younger, I went to a funeral, and I didn`t think it was enough of a celebration of the life of the person. I thought I could do better. I wanted to study, so I got a home course when I was about 14. I did a mail-order degree."
