Liam and Noel Gallagher dropped their legal action against each other
The former Oasis rockers went to war following the breakdown of the group in 2009 after a backstage row in Paris.
Liam launched libel action against Noel, 44, last year after he accused him of cancelling a gig because he was `hungover`. Noel later apologised and conceded that his little brother had been suffering from laryngitis but it was not enough to convince the 39-year-old singer to drop the lawsuit.
Guitarist Noel - who has since launched his solo project High Flying Birds - then countersued claiming the Beady Eye frontman left abusive voicemails on his wife Sara`s phone.
But according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, mum Peggy has now told her sons "enough is enough" and ordered them to call off the High Court action.
A source said: "The lawsuits and allegations against each other have been dropped. Peace has broken out.
"They will never be best friends but it`s getting better. Peggy spoke to Liam and Noel and told them enough is enough and not to spend fortunes arguing in court.
"She urged them to stop and thankfully she is one person who they both love and respect. They have put the disputes behind them partly for her sake.
"Liam and Noel like a fight but the only person they won`t row with is their mum."
The source added that despite the truce, the brothers remain estranged. Representatives for the pair declined to comment.
