Goldie Hawn has "never" been proud of her work
The 66-year-old actress - who has starred in numerous hit films including `Private Benjamin` and `Death Becomes Her` - has rarely had time to reflect on her career as she has been too busy "doing it".
In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said: "I`ve never looked at anything with pride. If I made something, it was because it had a heart and soul and a social relevance.
"`Private Benjamin` - women in relationships that aren`t working; `Protocol` - manipulation and lies in Washington. I never thought I`m going to trailblaze or prove that women can be producers.
"At the end of the day I can look back now and say, `That was pretty cool, Goldie. Way to go girl.` But at the time I never gave it a thought. I was just too busy doing it."
Goldie`s main focus in life is her family and she "loves" nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren; Wilder, four, 23-month-old Bodhi, Ryder, eight, and eight-month-old Bingham.
The blonde star - who has been in a relationship with Kurt Russell for 29 years - said: "The potential of a child is so great if one would only pay attention to that. But of course having my grandchildren has only made life better. I love them. They are fabulous."
Goldie has three children, Oliver Hudson, 35, Kate Hudson, 32, and
Wyatt Russell, 25.
