Djokovic and Nadal to set world record at Real Madrid?s stadium
Two of the world`s best tennis players Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are to play an exhibition game at Santiago Bernabeu arena in the Spanish capital.
ґOver 80 thousand fans are expected to pack Real Madrid`s home ground on June 14, making it the biggest crowd to watch a tennis match.
All the money raised from the event will go to the charity foundations of Nadal and Real Madrid, which both help children and young people, offering educational programs as a tool for social integration.
"Back to practicing, very happy because the Rafa Nadal Foundation`s event has been confirmed at Bernabeu," Nadal wrote on his Facebook page.
Novak Djokovic of Serbia is now World No.1, with his Spanish rival occupying the second spot in the WTA rankings.
The duo have played 30 matches against each other, with Nadal so far has a 16-14 advantage. The current attendance record for a tennis match was set in 2010 when over 35,000 spectators gathered at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, Belgium for the exhibition game between Kim Clijsters and Serena Williams.
