Tony Romo has become a father for the first time
The Dallas Cowboys Quarterback`s wife Candice Crawford gave birth to the couple`s son, Hawkins Crawford Romo - who weighed eight pounds, eight ounces - in a Dallas hospital on Monday (09.04.12).
A post on the Dallas Cowboys` website read: "Congratulations to Tony Romo, proud papa of Hawkins Crawford Romo, born on 9.04.12 at 5:30pm. 8 lbs 8 oz. (sic)"
Jessica Simpson`s former boyfriend Tony and Candice - whose brother is `Gossip Girl` star Chace Crawford - married in a lavish ceremony in Texas in October.
Chace recently revealed he loves to get back to his home state of Texas as much as possible, especially since he had a nephew on the way.
He said: "I like to get back to Texas as much as possible. My sister is about to have her baby, I`m about to become an uncle so I like to get back there as much as possible. It` s nice to get away from the fast pace of New York too."
