Two times more sex on American TV
Researchers from Kaiser Family Foundation have been carrying out analyses of programs by top-level American TV channels ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, WB, PBS, Lifetime, TNT, USA Network and HBO for sexual scenes of talks about sex since 1998.
And for seven years the number of such scenes increased from 1900 up to almost 3800, i.e. two times more! More than 1100 programs were examined and only in 14% of them there were some words about "protected sex" and need of using contraceptive agents. 70% of programs included different episodes with sexual scenes - from kisses to sexual connection with frequency nearly 5 times per hour.
