Josh Hutcherson was a dating failure at school
Despite becoming one of the biggest heartthrobs in the world after starring in `The Hunger Games`, Josh admits he wasn`t a huge hit with the girls when he was at high school because he is naturally shy.
He revealed: "It`s hard to believe, but I`m very shy when it comes to talking to girls. I don`t know why I get so nervous because it`s so easy, it`s just talking and I talk all the time. But it`s terrifying."
Josh is single at the moment and although he isn`t actively searching for a girlfriend he knows what sort of woman he wants to date.
The 19-year-old actor said: "It`s important for a girl to be herself.
I don`t want someone who is trying to make me think she`s a certain way when she`s something different. Someone who is comfortable in their own shoes and who is down for having a fun time. I used to have a very specific type - dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin. Now I`m more into the beauty of a person."
