Khloe Kardashian dropped from US X Factor
While Khloe`s season two co-presenter Mario Lopez has been confirmed for the third season of the reality TV show, Fox executives have announced that the `Keeping Up With The Kardashians` star`s contract has not been renewed.
Producers said in a statement: "Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host `The X Factor`. We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in the future."
While Simon Cowell didn`t comment on Khloe directly, he revealed his delight that Mario will be back for another year, along with judge Demi Lovato.
He said: "I`m thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of `The X Factor`. Hosting a live show and keeping the judges - especially Demi - in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he`s coming back."
Mario added: "I`m looking forward to returning to `The X Factor` team. We`re coming back stronger and better than ever and I`m excited to check out all the new talent."
Simon and Demi will return to the judge`s table while announcements for Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, who quit after season two, have not yet been announced.
