He also doesn`t think Miley Cyrus` sexually explicit twerking routine with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) has damaged the popularity of the craze.
When asked if Miley`s VMAs display had destroyed the dance phenomenon, he replied: "What are you talking about, man? I had twerking lessons yesterday."

The `Where is the Love` hitmaker - who is heading out on a solo tour this December - insists the late King of Pop showed him the importance of being humble, no matter how famous you get.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, he said: "(I learned the most from) Michael Jackson. I learned that if entertainment is your career, every second of your life is like being on stage. And humility. Every performance could be your last, so make sure you`re making the right decisions. It`s why he had such an excellent body of work. As big as he was, he wasn`t arrogant. He wasn`t rude."
