Chelyabinsk region puts up gold deposit for auction
CHELYABINSK, November 15 - Russia`s Chelyabinsk region and the Federal Subsoil Use Agency (Rosnedra) have announced an open auction for the right to use natural deposits for geological prospecting and mining of hard-rock gold of the Nailinsky field located in the territory of the Miass city district of the Cheyabinsk region.
Head of the licensing department of the Chelyanbinsk regional subsoil use agency Alexander Shcherbakov told Prime-Tass on Monday the forecast resources of the Nailinsky gold field are 28 tonnes.
Applications for the participation in the auction are accepted before November 21. The auction will be held in Chelyabinsk on December 20. The winner of the competition will obtain a license for the use of the deposit for a term of 25 years.
