Sarkisyan to take part in next meeting of intergovernmental bank
The president of Central bank of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan has left to Moscow on Thursday for participation in next meeting of the council of intergovernmental bank of Commonwealth of Independent States.
The Central bank of Armenia informed RIA Novosti implementation of the prospective program of work of intergovernmental bank and acceptance of its new program and regulations were put on the agenda.
Sarkisyan is the president of the council of intergovernmental bank.
Intergovernmental bank of Commonwealth of Independent States was created in 1996. It is a finance and credit organization which mission is to solve problems of payment and account transactions effectively within Commonwealth of Independent States, develop investment credit activity in the interests of states - members of the bank.
The founders of the bank are central banks of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
