New plenipotentiary in Far East region "not to make rash decisions"
Khabarovsk, November 20 - New plenipotentiary of the Russian president in Far Eastern region Khamil Iskhakov arrived in the morning in Khabarovsk.
In the airport, at the briefing Iskhakov announced his first task to get to know the apparatus of plenipotentiary representation, the situation in Far Eastern districts.
The new representative of Putin informed about his plans to visit Magadan and Vladivostok with the ex-plenipotentiary of the region - Konstantin Pulikovsky. Iskhakov promised "not to make rash decisions and to elaborate every step".
"I?m interested in Far East. It is a big and hard territory to work on. It will be challenging for me to work in this region, to realize my plans and ideas", - said Iskhakov.
Khamil Iskhakov was appointed the plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Far Eastern region by Putin?s decree. Recently he was the mayor of Kazan city, in the Republic Tatarstan.
