Penalty for non-support can be enlarged by 10 times
Federation Council will speak during the meeting on Wednesday in initiation of bills that provide toughening of parents? responsibility for children?s condition.
Particularly there will be discussed the increase of punitive measures for delinquency of alimony payments by one of parents.
According to the president of Federation Council Sergey Mironov it is suggested to increase the amount of fine from 0.10% to 1% for every overdue day.
He thinks if parents are not able to look after their children, the state must do everything necessary to make children competent citizens.
