"Kamaz" becomes strategical factory
Public corporation "Kamaz" along with "Kamaz-Diesel", "Kamaz-Instrumentspcmash", "Kamaz-metallurgy" and Kama plate-and-frame plant are put on the list of strategical factories.
Less than month ago "Kamaz" was put on the list of organizations that has to be privatized in 2006. Government planned to put 34% of stock on London stock exchange,
Along with government stock 11% of share holdings which belong to Tatarstan government had to be sold. The total amount of 45% of share holdings amounts to 200 millions of dollars.
Experts noticed that "Kamaz" stock is already10 years on market and was not an object of investor`s interest.
Public corporation "Kamaz" was established on August 23 1990. Joint complex includes 13 large departments of automobile engineering, production, assembling and production distribution.
