Threat to Khabarovsk Territory and Amur river!
In Khabarovsk city the demand for drinking water, juices and beverages had increased due to possible Amur river pollution.
The prices had increased up to 10-15%, the companies engaged in drinking water delivery just stuck because of high demand. People order more and more water.
Vladimir Popov, the chief of Emergency Situations Commission, said that they are going to declare the state of emergency in Khabarovsky Territory from November 25.
He asked the citizens not to panic, since Khabarovsk has enough drinking water in store.
According to preliminary data, the contaminated water will come to Khabarovsk on December 1. The water of Chinese rivers flowing into Amur river was contaminated as a result of the explosion at chemical factory in Tsilin province.
