"Gasprom" hires Shroeder
German chancellor Gerhard Shroeder can become an official of Russian petroleum company "Gasprom" in near future.
Considering that the majority of votes were given to Christian democrats last month, there is a presentiment that Angela Merkel will head ruling coalition. There is a way Shroeder can leave political scene with dignity.
There is a possibility that Russian gas giant "Gasprom", which has spent 7.4 milliards of pounds to buy Abramovich property, will offer job to chancellor.
Shroeder used to administer "Gasprom". Last month he and Russian president Putin arranged a deal about construction of gas pipe line from Siberia to Berlin.
Being the largest company in Russia "Gasprom" undoubtedly can offer attractive financing reward so Shroeder would leave without compunction.
Meanwhile the name of a new German chancellor will be known on Sunday or Monday.
