Ren-TV news presenter was suspended
The presenter of an analytical program "24" on REN-TV Olga Romanova was banned to appear on her program.
The journalist herself told about that radio station "Echo of Moscow".
According to Romanova guards did not allow her to the studio at 21:30 (Moscow time) before the airing for regions.
"Orjonikidze (the director general of media holding Alexander Orjonikidze) transmit through deputy editor-in-chief an order today that I am suspended from airing", - said the presenter.
"That was a verbal order and I applied for written direction but I did not receive it in any form", - explained journalist.
Then Romanova was invited for a conversation with Orjonikidze and he asked her not come for airing once again. "I said he prevented me from discharge of my duties and I can not appear in the studio only because of my death or by direction?s written direction and I went to the studio, but three men did not let me go there", - said Romanova.
"I don?t want to be dismissed for violation of labor discipline. I was ready of airing at 23:30", - noticed Romanova. In spite of her protests Moscow airing of the program "24" was conducted by another presenter, too.
The director general explained "news programs have low ratings and REN-TV direction made a decision to invite other presenters for news programs."
