Luzhkov not to leave Moscow mayor position before end of term
Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov confirmed that he is not going to abdicate responsibility of mayor before end of term.
"I am not going to leave position of mayor will declared term", - announced he this Saturday in Krasnoyarsk during break of 6-th session of "Unified Russia" political party.
Answering questions of journalists, Luzhkov assured that "there is base to discuss this matter".
Mayour noted that at present moment he is a leader in "Unified Russia" list during elections to Moscow city Duma. "We concentrate on victory - try to get support of Moscow citizens", - he added.
Thinking about future Moscow Duma, mayor expressed the opinion that it will have several political fractions. "It will be Duma with various positions, and it will be even more interesting and correct to find compromise and correct decisions", - stressed Luzhkov.
