Mireille Mathieu awarded "Ruby disk"
Legend of French stage, singer Mireille Mathieu was awarded honorable prize; Ruby Disk", which was created specially for her. This way France celebrated 40 years of singer`s creative career. She has sold already 122 millions of compact disks.
Ceremony took place in famous hall "Olympia" in center of Paris. "Ruby disk" was handed by famous cultural worker and director of "Olympia" Arno Delbar. "This award is conferred to Mireille from all performers and singers of France", - he said from most famous singing stage of Paris.
Along with "Ruby Disk" Mireille Mathieu was handed giant cake, 3 meters high. Audience applauded, standing, to singer for 10 minutes. "I have only one person in my life - my audience, and I completely belong to him", - confesses the singer. 83-year mother of Mireille Mathieu also presented at concert in "Olympia".
