100-th anniversary of school in Kashino
Kashino middle school N1, which was built in 1905 and became first specialized school of Kashino district in Tverskaya province, celebrated its centenary. School prepared well for this event. Pupils and teachers enriched exhibition of school museum, which tells the story of those who taught and learnt in classes of this oldest educational institution.
Graduates of different years came to native school on festive jubilee evening. Many of them became outstanding scientists, academicians in various fields of science. The most honorable guest became 90-year old professor, scientist-mathematician Nikolai Bogomolov. Great mathematician presented native school his book about history of mathematics. Among presents are rare editions of encyclopedias, and even 30 free tickets for a group tour to Gelendjik, where best pupils of school can go on winter vacations.
