Iron-champion to be cast in Novosibirsk
New metal will be 10 times more lasting than steel. It will not be afraid of sea water or acid.
Experts of "Sibczvetlit", "Sibtechmach" and "Sibelectroterm" applied to industry technology of new acid-stable cast-iron production. This material can be used while producing main junctions of oil producing ocean complexes where stainless steel is used at present moment. New cast-iron costs several times less than steel and is10 times more stable in mediums, enriched with hydrogen sulphide, sea waters, and also is 50 times more stable than bronze.
First products made of new cast-iron will be protection chimney-cap for multi-storied buildings. They can resist to sulfur dioxide - part of smoke, which corrodes brick and concrete.
