Scientists found origin of amorousness
Scientists from Pavia University discovered protein responsible for flame of first love.
By their words, increased amount of this protein causes feeling of euphoria and affection, connected with amorousness feeling.
But after investigation of human organisms who had long-standing and short-termed relationships, and also of lonely people, researchers found out that content of this protein decreases. Scientists analyzed different levels of neurotropines in blood of men and women at age from 18 to 31 years. They examined 58 people who just started love affair. Level of protein was compared with the same amount of people, who stay in close relationships for long time, and also with characteristics of lonely people.
Those persons, who just fell in love, had sufficiently higher level of protein called as neuron growth factor (NGF). From 39 people who kept their relationships, within a year level of NGF protein fell to normal value. This result doesn`t mean that love ended, feeling just became not so sharp.
"Love comes to stable phase. But romantic love apparently ends",- said researcher. By his words, changes in power of love depend on NGF protein. "Our knowledge about romantic love neurobiology remains fragmentary".
"Investigations suggest that romantic love-passion changes to love-friendship with time. Certain biological factors play role in this process".
