Anatoly Chubais guaranteed power supply in Moscow in winter.

Unified Energy System CEO Anatoly Chubais guaranteed heat and power supply in Moscow in winter 2005-2006. "Moscow won?t be left without heating and lighting this winter", - commented Chubais words of Mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov, who said that Chubais in fact admitted the failure of Unified Energy System chief executives work.
Anatoly Chubais claimed, that Luzhkov?s cavils were nothing but an attempt to aggravate the situation before the elections in Moscow. "The solution is quite simple. The elections. Luzhkov?s activity of the last days has nothing to do with concern for Muscovites, but directly connected with the elections", - said Chubais.
Moscow Mayor?s accusation appeared after the conference "New energy policy of Unified Energy Systems", where Anatoly Chubais announced that power supply cuts would be possible in Moscow in case of severe frost.
Unified Energy System CEO reminded that Russian government confirmed the provisions about limitation of electric power supply under the threat of emergency situation in June. "Isn?t Luzhkov aware of this document? He is aware and he understands everything. The answer is in elections", - concluded Anatoly Chubais.
